Take a discovery trip through Arizona’s past with the Museum’s 4th-grade Arizona history interactive tour.
Learn about the beginnings of Arizona's territorial government and how pioneers crossed the country in covered wagons to settle in Prescott.
Student Tours will allow young people to experience a one-room schoolhouse and write on an old-fashioned slate board (from before the advent of laptops, touchpads and smartphones).
They'll also learn about the dwellings, hunting techniques and baskets of the local native peoples.
The Education Department also offers a way to bring a piece of Sharlot Hall Museum into your classroom with our Traveling Trunks.
Our trunks contain various interactive items to use in your classroom as hands-on learning tools. To schedule a docent visit to your classroom, call 445-3122 ext.35.
Additional tours for grade-specific classes available on request, or book a Discovery Tour for adults (minimum six adults per tour). For school and organization tours involving children, it's possible to schedule a tour with one adult and five to eight children.
